Christina Aguilera’s At Linda Perry’s Freeheld Hands Of Love Event

Last night Christina Aguilera was one of the special guests at Linda Perry’s party to raise awareness for Hands Of Love.

Hands Of Love is a song written by Linda and performed by Miley Cyrus as soundtrack of Freeheld – Hands Of Love movie with Julienne Moore and Ellen Page. It is based on the 2007 documentary short film of the same name about police officer Laurel Hester’s fight against the Ocean County, New Jersey Board of Chosen Freeholders to allow her pension benefits to be transferred to her domestic partner after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Christina for the occasion sang the song “Mother”, maybe in honor of Linda and her wife Sarah Gilbert that became parents of a baby boy in March 2015.

Hosted by Aguilera, Tobey Maguire, Perry’s wife Sara Gilbert and music producer Kerry Brown, the party’s crowd included Jodie Foster and her photographer wife Alexandra Hedison, Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson, Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler and Donald Faison.
