Justin Timberlake Will Be Executive Music Producer For Trolls Movie

It was March 2013 when Justin Timberlake released the first part of his The 20/20 Experience project, an album divided in two volumes (the second released in September 2013), who brought the artist back on scenes after seven years his last album FutureSex/LoveSound.

Now after a long tournee and the birth of his first baby boy Silas Randall (one year on April 11) he’s ready for a new project: the executive music production of the new Dreamwork’s movie Trolls.

In this role, Justin will oversee all creative direction for the film’s music as well as perform multiple songs on the soundtrack. Justin also stars as Branch, a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors, in DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming comedy.

Joined by Anna Kendrick as Princess Poppy, the two embark on a hair-raising adventure as the globally iconic Trolls make their motion picture debut.

I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event [and] couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks’Trolls,” says Justin “This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all.

The film will be distributed on November 4, 2016, by 20th Century Fox.

What do you think about this project?
